Declaration of intent (Emmanuel Sefadzi Ahegbebu)
Comrades, Friends, and well-wishers on this platform, my humble regards.
John Quincy Adams once said, “If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader”.
Inspired by the words above, I, EMMANUEL SEFADZI AHEGBEBU, would humbly like to formally and publicly manifest my interest in aspiring for the position of the National Organizing Secretary of the Teacher Trainees Association of Ghana (TTAG) come Congress 2020
I hold a diploma certificate in events management. I have varied experiences in students’ leadership and activism which has prepared me very well for the task I am about to undertake.
I am currently serving as the SRC General Secretary of Akatsi College of Education and have been privileged to assist in the organization of some reputable national programs.
The central theme for my campaign for the National Organizing Secretary of TTAG is “TIME FOR TTAG RENAISSANCE”.
Renaissance means rebirth or revival. Now is the time for the renaissance of TTAG, considering its dwindling stance as the main representative body between government and the thousands of trainees nationwide.
Indeed, under such circumstances, it requires sober reflection and organization. Our great leader, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah always admonished that “Organize! Organize! Because the organization does it all”. It is therefore imperative that the renaissance of TTAG must give priority to organizing activities that will attract, retain, and motivate trainees in our folds.
I am driven by the desire to bring a new spirit and dynamism which is based on grassroots organization and not empty RHETORICS. I am humbly counting on you and other teeming delegates that I will encounter at the come 2020 Congress to rally behind me for our success.
Time for TTAG Renaissance
Your voice, Your choice, Our duty Fired up! Ready to go!!
