About Scholarship
This award is intended to recognize and support students who are able to succeed in higher education, despite academic challenges. Selection based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership qualities based on involvement in extracurricular and community activities. These awards will be renewed each year contingent upon achieving a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a full normal course load at the University of Alberta while studying on a Study Permit. Students must have less than 24 IB, AP or A-level credits. Transfer students are not eligible for this scholarship.
How to Apply
- Documentation required for admission must be submitted for scholarship consideration by the scholarship deadline as outlined above. This includes transcripts showing all completed courses, grades to date and proof of English Language Proficiency.
- You must apply to an admission to an undergraduate degree program before you can apply for any entrance scholarships. Application for admissions and scholarships opens on October 1, 2019. The deadline for application-based scholarships is 11:59PM MST on December 11, 2019.
