ABOUT SCHOLARSHIP
The prestigious President’s Scholarship is one of the most competitive scholarships at the University of Ottawa for international students. The award is valued at $30,000 and can be renewed for up to 3 years provided the student maintains full-time enrolment, international student status and a CGPA of 8.5 or higher. Valued at $30,000, AND one of only two scholarships awarded for a 2-year program (the other being the Lord Elgin Scholarship).
In addition to funding, recipients will receive a mentor who will work with them throughout their program and offer guidance on how to apply for future opportunities at UVic in order to best support their interests in academic and extracurricular activities during their time here! The one-time award of $1,500 recognizes applicants who placed second through fourth place in the competition process.
